Nastaran’s strength is her diversity of litigation experience, allowing her to strategize solutions based on a holistic understanding of the law. Nastaran also ensures that her advocacy is guided by her clients’ economic and business realities, utilizing creative tactics to find practical resolutions that minimize the fees and stress associated with legal proceedings. Nastaran began her career articling with a human rights and disability law firm where she developed insights into the practical solutions that can be reached between employers and employees in ensuring the development of mutually beneficial relationships. She later practised as a civil litigator, allowing her to polish her oral and written advocacy skills before the Ontario Superior court. As a civil litigator, Nastaran represented clients in a wide array of areas, including corporate governance disputes, contract litigation, class action settlements, and professional negligence claims.

Early in her career, Nastaran decided to pursue her entrepreneurial ambitions and begin her own firm in an area near to her personal roots: immigration law. As an immigration lawyer, Nastaran acquired insights into the relationship between the Canadian economy and our reliance on migration to fulfill ongoing labour shortages. Furthermore, as a business owner, Nastaran developed a newfound appreciation of the dedication required to maintain and grow a successful business, as well as a nuanced understanding of the difficult decisions made by business owners on a daily basis.

Nastaran attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was recognized for her academic achievements with multiple honours, including awards in Immigration Law and Business Associations, as well as being given the distinction of a Dean’s Fellow. She is also active within the legal community and is frequently asked to speak at educational programs hosted by various organizations, including the Law Society of Ontario.
